Scratch Jr

Hi my name is Tu pakari and we were learning to code on Scratch Junior.The cool thing on scratch jr is that you can make animations by making a car go from one place to another.When i first started scratch jr i really liked it because you can colour things your favourite colour but when i got use to it then i started getting sick of it but sometimes i do go on and play. When were on it i made a rocket go up into the sky.

Class of the week

Room 1 won the class of the week by showing the 3’r Respect,Responsible and Resilience. Respect is when you help people to do their work and help them if they get hurt.Responsible is when you ignore someone that is annoying you.Resilience is if someone bullies you tell the teacher or just say stop it i don’t like it and walk away and it also means keep trying and don’t give up.I don’t really like the class of the week because we don’t really do anything with it but it’s cool to know our class has been good.The only other thing that I do like about it is that when we chose another class because I like talking on stage and seeing the class that won the trophy when their excited and happy when they get. 

My Birthday Writing

My 9th birthday

On my birthday me and my friend were playing a rugby game at Simpson Park in Moerewa. Our game was 2 weeks ago on Saturday morning and it was also my birthday. After my game me, my mum, my little brother and my friend went to my house for a sleepover. We had a shower, we got changed and went to Whangarei. When we arrived we had some sushi and chicken and chips for lunch. Then we went to mini golf. At mini golf me and my friend got a golf stick and a golf ball then we took turns each at going first at hitting the ball.When we were in the dark my shoes started to glow purple underneath and on the sides. It was pretty dumb because there was only 18 holes and we got them all fast and easy then we were done. After that we went to the park for 1 hour play and then we went home.

Whale Rider

Today we have been learning how to make an animation with google slides.  My pirate ship broke when the whale came and squished it.  The pirate jumped off the boat and he rode the whale.

Gorilla's

Appearance
A gorilla is big and strong. They have sharp and strong teeth and they have black fur.

Diet
Gorillas eat bananas and leaves off trees. They also eat the inside of bamboo.

Habitat
Gorillas live down below on the flats in the jungle of Africa.                                           

Behaviour
Gorillas like to climb trees and fight each other. They also like to play around.

I was learning to write about animals and a report.
I liked this because animals are smart and strong and protective for their babies.
It was easy because i know about gorillas that are on tv in the zoo.

Narrtive writting

One horrible dark night thanos and his powerful glove  went for a hike. He was all alone in the jungle.then saw a cave and went in and had a sleep then he heard people screaming and getting chased.suddenly he froze and heard stomping coming towards him closer and closer and closer.By the time the monster got closer he ran so fast he couldn’t even breathe properly.the dark and creepy hole in the cave started to collapse and the monster got crashed and the monster was never to be seen but his big brother came to destroy the jungle but thanos stepped up and super punched him so strong that the monster went to space and died and thanos did a victory dance but some trees were still on fire.

The Dragon’s Egg

The dragon’s egg shell was a fiery red colour with stripes of yellow like lightning flashes.

GECKOS

Geckos can change colour.  They eat all kinds of little bugs and worms too.  They are good at catching their prey with tongue because it is sticky and long like a frogs.
